Unleashing the potential of the Creative Industries in Africa

Africa’s creative industries are rapidly emerging as a powerful economic force. In fact, it’s amongst the fastest-growing sectors on the globe and this presents significant opportunities for emerging nations, with predictions indicating that the creative economy could contribute up to 10% of global GDP by 2030 (UNCTAD / Thinktank G20 Insights). As Marrakech hosts the World Bank and International Monetary Funds Annual Meetings, the “Voice of Africa” theme days, organized by University Mohammed VI Polytechnic from the 10th to the 14th of October, aim to amplify African voices as catalysts for global change.
